How do I close my store on the same days every week?
Add a weekly closure. Pick the days and times, and it repeats every week by itself.
Steps
- Go to Closures and click Add closure.
- Type a Name, for example "Weekends".
- Under Type, choose Weekly: the same days every week.
- Under Closed every, tick the days, for example Saturday and Sunday.
- Set From and Until times. 00:00 to 00:00 closes the whole day.
- Optional: set Starting (optional) and Ending (optional) dates, for example only during summer.
- Under Orders while closed, choose keep selling or block checkout.
- Optional: set Days after reopening before dispatch.
- Check Where to show it and Text for this closure, then click Save.
Good to know
- An end time before the start time runs into the next day. For example, Friday from 18:00 until 09:00 closes Friday evening to Saturday morning.
- Days next to each other join up. Saturday and Sunday, 00:00 to 00:00, is one closure from Saturday morning to Monday 00:00.
- Weekly closures have no dispatch date field. The dispatch date is the day you reopen, plus the number of days you set.
- Times use your store's timezone and stay correct across clock changes.
- The weekly closure keeps working even if our servers are briefly unavailable. We publish your next few closure periods ahead of time, so your store knows what to do.
- If a dated holiday overlaps a weekly closure, then for the overlapping time Block checkout wins over Keep selling, then the one that ends later.
- To stop it for a while, open it and tick Paused.
