What happens to my data when I uninstall?
Uninstalling switches everything off straight away. We never store your customers' data. We delete your shop's data when Shopify tells us to, about 48 hours after you uninstall.
When you uninstall
- Checkout blocking and shipping name changes stop.
- The settings we saved to your store are removed, so no banner, notices or order status note show.
- Your subscription stops. Shopify handles any billing.
Your data
- Customer data: we don't store any.
- Shop data: your closures, messages, appearance, always-open collections and tags, reminder settings and email log. We delete all of it when Shopify sends its shop data removal request (
shop/redact). Shopify sends this about 48 hours after you uninstall. - If you reinstall before then, your closures and settings are still there.
To uninstall
- In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps.
- Find Holiday & Vacation Mode and choose Uninstall.
